Shared responsibility is one of the types of civil liability , which means that each of the debtors is liable in exactly the share specified in the law or contract . This type of responsibility is applied as a general rule for several subjects of an offense, unless another type of responsibility is provided for by a law (other legal act) or by an agreement (article 321 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation ).
