Leistus niger (lat.) Is a species of ground beetles from the subfamily of dams . Distributed in the Altai , Khabarovsk , Krasnoyarsk and Primorsky Territories , Amur , Chita , Irkutsk , Sakhalin and Yakutsk Regions , Buryatia , Eastern and Western Sayan , Khamar-Daban and Tuva , as well as in China , Japan ( Honshu , Hokkaido ) and in the north of Korea Peninsula [1] [2] . The length of the body is 9-11.2 mm [2] . The body is tar-brown or black, the elytra is usually lighter; oral apparatus, antennae, palpi and brown legs [2] .
