The Amazar Range is a mountain range in the Transbaikal Territory of Russia , between the rivers Amazar and Bolshaya Chichatka (in the north), as well as Shilka and Amur (in the south).

The total length of the ridge reaches 170 km, the average width is 30-40 km. The prevailing heights are up to 1000 m, the maximum is 1322 m. Low and medium altitude mountains with river valleys and their tributaries embedded in them prevail in the relief of the ridge; in the top part in some places fragments of the ancient leveling surface, rocky outcrops, preserved on the slopes of the Kurums . The main type of landscape is mountain taiga with gauze and spruce.
