Biography
- 1909 , April 7 - was born in the village of Amga (Yakutia) in the family of a “plowed” peasant V.V. Kirensky.
- 1915 - the death of his father, the beginning of his studies at the Amga Church and Parish School .
- 1919 - the family moved to Yakutsk .
- 1927 - graduated from high school in Yakutsk, beginning of labor as a physics and mathematics teacher in the Russian experimental demonstration school in Yakutsk.
- 1928 - 1930 - work as a teacher of a secondary school in Olekminsk, Yakut ASSR
- 1930 - 1931 - school teacher in Yakutsk.
- 1931 - 1936 - student of the Faculty of Physics, Moscow State University .
- 1937 - the first scientific work “Temperature dependence of the magnetization curve” was published.
- 1939 - defense of the Ph.D. thesis "Magnetocaloric effect during the rotation of a ferromagnetic crystal in a magnetic field", Moscow State University.
- 1940 - sent to work in Krasnoyarsk . Comes to Krasnoyarsk.
- 1943 - organizes the magnetic laboratory of the Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical Institute , joins the CPSU
- 1949 - 1969 - Chairman of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Peace Committee.
- 1950 - defense of a doctoral dissertation "Study of the energy structure of ferromagnets"
- 1953 - 1959 - Deputy of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Council of People's Deputies.
- 1957 - Organization of the Institute of Physics in Krasnoyarsk.
- 1957 - elected as a member of the Krasnoyarsk city committee of the CPSU.
- 1960 - 1969 - Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the fifth, sixth, and seventh convocations. Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
- 1960 , July - organization and holding of the First All-Union Symposium on the Physics of Magnetic Films in Krasnoyarsk.
- 1961 - awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor for the training of scientific personnel.
- 1963 - elected as a member of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Committee of the CPSU
- 1964 - elected as a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences .
- 1966 - participated in the XXIII Congress of the CPSU .
- 1966 - organization and holding of the first All-Union Symposium on Strong Magnetic Fields.
- 1968 - elected full member of the USSR Academy of Sciences .
- 1968 - organization and holding of the International Symposium on the Physics of Magnetic Films in Irkutsk .
- 1969 - Awarding the title of Hero of Socialist Labor .
- 1969 , November 3 - died in Moscow . He was buried in the Krasnoyarsk Academgorodok . In 1974, a monument was erected on his grave, reminiscent of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars (authors N. A. Silis, V. S. Lemport , L. A. Sokolov).
