The Tsakhkunyats ridge , also the Tsakhkunyats ridge - a mountain ridge in Armenia , in the Aragatsotn region ; the watershed of the Kasakh (in the west) and Hrazdan (in the east) river basins From the north, the Pambaksky Range adjoins the ridge , from the south-west - Techenyatsky , from the south-east - the Zingerly Ridge. The ridge is composed of eruptive rocks. Treeless along the entire watershed line, but in the middle-southern half it is covered with deciduous forests and shrubs from the base to a height of 2500 m. On the same segment, above 2500 m, mountain steppes , which in the extreme quarters of the ridge stretch from the foot to the watershed. The length of the ridge is about 25 km, the highest point is located at an altitude of more than 2800 meters [2] . The northern slopes of the ridges included in the reserve "Sosny Banks"; pine forests grow here. [3] [4]
