Gabriel Bibron ( French: Gabriel Bibron ; October 20, 1805 - March 27, 1848 ) - French zoologist.

In the years 1827-1833 during the Greek Revolution, he was a member of the French scientific expedition to the Sea in Greece.
Bibron worked at the National Museum of Natural History . Together with Andre-Marie Dumeril , whom he met in 1832, he classified a large number of reptiles.
Bibron fell ill with tuberculosis and in 1845 retired to Saint-Alban-les-Ou , where he died at the age of 42.
