History
The Theological School was opened in Uglich in 1776, initially located in wooden cell buildings of the Voskresensky monastery abolished in 1764.
When the total number of students of the religious school exceeded two hundred and there was a shortage of space for classes, two school classes were placed on the lower floor of the Pyatnitskaya church.
In 1882, a two-storey brick building on the bank of the Trinity Creek was bought for the religious school from the Vyzhilovs merchants. [one]
In 1918, the religious school was closed. The building has not survived to this day.
