Content
History
The village of Pekshevo arose at the beginning of the XVII century under the name "Pekisheva village". The first wooden church was built in 1735 . A stone small Epiphany church in Pekshevo appeared in 1826 [1] at the expense of the merchant merchant Alexandra Nechaeva. A quote from the “Clear Sheets” :

The church did not have its own priest and was assigned to the Theological Church in the neighboring village of Glushitsy . In the temple there was a library of 47 volumes, church lands covered 33 tithes.
Current status
Currently, the Church of the Epiphany in the village. Pekshevo by the decision of the regional executive committee No. 219 of 04/17/1987 and the decree of the administration of the Voronezh region N 850 of 08/14/95 was an object of historical and cultural heritage of regional significance. [2]
