Biography

Irina Pukhalskaya began playing volleyball at a sports school in the city of Kherson with coach Sergei Anatolyevich Bezgan, then studied at the Kiev sports boarding school. In 1986 she was invited to the Zaporizhzhya "Orbit" . As a member of the team, Vladimir Buzaev won the USSR Cup, became the bronze medalist of the Union Championship, the winner of the European Volleyball Confederation Cup, and the champion of Ukraine.

In the national team of Ukraine in 1993 she won the bronze medal of the European Championship . In the same year, Irina got married and became Komissarova.

Since the mid-1990s, she has played in the leading clubs in Turkey - Emlyakbank from Ankara and Istanbul teams Gunesh Sigorta, Vakifbank Gunesh Sigorta and Besiktas. In the seasons 1997/98 and 2003/04, she returned to the Zaporozhye "Orbit"; in the 2004/2005 season she played for the Croatian club Typhon Azena ( Velika Gorica ), from which she was again called up to the Ukrainian team.

In 2008-2012, Irina Komissarova played for Severodonchanka and was recognized as the best connecting agent of the Ukrainian championship four times in a row [1] [2] . Since 2010, she has been the team's playing coach, and in the 2009/10 season she also trained Severodonchanka -2 in the Premier League [3] . Since 2009, she regularly played in the national team, performing the duties of team captain. In September 2011, she participated in the European Championships in Serbia and Italy .

In January 2016, after a four-year break, she returned to the site and spent several matches for her native Orbit, replacing the injured binder Olga Skripak [4] . Before the start of the 2016/17 season, she became the head coach of Orbit [5] , and since 2017, after returning to Zaporozhye, Vladimir Buzaev has been working as a coach in the club [6] .

  • With the Ukrainian SSR team - bronze medalist of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR (1986) .
  • With the national team of Ukraine - bronze medalist of the European Championship (1993) .

  • Bronze medalist of the USSR Championship ( 1988/89 ).
  • Winner of the USSR Cup ( 1988 ).
  • 2-time champion of Ukraine ( 1992/93 , 2008/09 ), silver ( 1992 , 1993/94 , 1994/95 , 1997/98 , 2003/04 ) and bronze ( 2010/11 , 2011/12 ) medalist in Ukraine.
  • 2-time winner of the Cup of Ukraine (1993, 2009).
  • Champion of Turkey (1995/96), silver medalist of the Turkish championships (1998 / 99-2001 / 02, 2005/06).
  • Silver medalist of the Croatian championship (2004/05).
  • Winner of the European Volleyball Confederation Cup (1989/90), silver (1994/95, 1995/96) and bronze (1999/2000) winner of the CEV Cup.
  • Member of the Final Four of the Champions League (2005/06).

Individual

  • The best binder of the championships of Ukraine (2008 / 09—2011 / 12).
