"Jolly" Roger Bradfield , ( eng. "Jolly" Roger Bradfield , born 1924, White Bear , Minnesota ) is an American children's writer, illustrator, cartoonist, food packaging designer and traveler.

Children's books
The most famous "Jolly" Roger Bradfield received as the author and illustrator of children's books. He began to write, trying to master the ability to type. Dissatisfied with the boring tasks that were given in the self-paced printing manual, he began to invent funny texts. This is how his first book, An Elephant in the Bathtub , appeared. He later released other books, including Pickle-Chiffon Pie , Camel by Benjamin Dillie, who wanted to drink ( Benjamin Dilley's Thirsty Camel ), Giants come in different sizes ( Giants Come in Different Sizes ), The Flying Hockey Stick, and Benjamin Dilley's Lavender Lion . Bradfield himself created illustrations for his books. In addition, he illustrated some of the early books from the Sesame Street series, as well as Bert's Hall of Sherlock Hemlock and the Great Twiddlebug Mystery .
Comics
In 1972-1978 Bradfield worked as a caricaturist for a newspaper syndicate, creating the Dooley's World comic book series. The heroes of the comic were the boy and his collection of living toys. In addition to the boy, the heroes of the comics were Professor, the mysterious and brooding knight Norman, the harmful doll Thelm and the unsociable mouse Max.
Family
Roger Bradfield was raised by his mother and grandmother. He is currently married, raising five children.
