Biography
Born in a working class family. He graduated from 7 classes. From 1932 he moved to the Donbass ( Makeevka ) where he graduated from the mining school. He worked as a miner in the mine to them. Ordzhonikidze. In 1939 he was drafted into the Red Army . From the first day he participated in the Great Patriotic War, first by a sapper on the Transcaucasian, Western, and Kalinin fronts, then as an assistant to the commander of the sapper platoon on the Central, Belorussian and 1st Belorussian fronts.
