Biography

Born in a working class family. He graduated from 7 classes. From 1932 he moved to the Donbass ( Makeevka ) where he graduated from the mining school. He worked as a miner in the mine to them. Ordzhonikidze. In 1939 he was drafted into the Red Army . From the first day he participated in the Great Patriotic War, first by a sapper on the Transcaucasian, Western, and Kalinin fronts, then as an assistant to the commander of the sapper platoon on the Central, Belorussian and 1st Belorussian fronts.

  • 01.22.1944 was awarded the Order of Glory 3 degrees.
  • 09/05/1944 was awarded the Order of Glory 2 degrees.
  • 05/31/1945 was awarded the Order of Glory of 1 degree.

In 1945, demobilized. He lived in the village. Kalinin, Makeevka-7. He returned to the mine to them. Ordzhonikidze, worked as a mountain master.
He was awarded the Order of Glory I, II and III degree, World War 1 degree, Red Star, medals "For the Defense of Moscow", "For the Liberation of Warsaw", "For the Capture of Berlin", "For Victory over Germany".

Memory

In 2005, compatriots of Peter Ivanovich opened a memorial plaque to him in the Alley of military and labor glory in the village of Khotynets .
