Biography
In 1901 he graduated from the Higher Art School at the Imperial Academy of Arts . He served as a senior technician at the Moscow police. Since 1916 he was a technician of the Moscow City Government. [1] [2]
The main work of Polikarpov carried out in the modern style and pseudo-Russian style. The most significant work of the architect, in the opinion of art historian M. V. Nashchokina , is the Old Believers' Assumption Cathedral “at Apukhtinka”. He lived in Moscow on Dolgorukovskaya street , 34, apt. Number 11 [3] . The fate of the architect is unknown. [one]
