Biography
He began to study music in Lviv, then in 1977 [3] graduated from the Moscow Central Conservatory of Music at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow , and in 1982 from the Moscow Conservatory (piano class by Lev Naumov , composition class by Tikhon Khrennikov ).
The main works of Adrian Korchinsky: Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, Symphony for Viola and Orchestra "Orpheus and Eurydice", Concerto for Viola, Organ and String Orchestra "Seven Words of Jesus on the Cross", Two Sonatas for Violin and Piano, Sonata for Cello and piano, music for Kafka’s Process, quintet Curriculum Vitae, Mind Games quartet, music created for the Tests for Real Men and Northern Light feature films and other chamber, vocal and organ compositions. In addition, one of his last orchestral works is The Four Elements - Concert for violin, string orchestra and piano, inspired by the 19th century drawings of the Japanese artist Katsushiki Hokusai. In 1982, he was awarded the UNESCO Partita Prize for Strings, Percussion and Organ.
In addition, Korchinsky composes pop songs that are included in the repertoire of such performers as Biser Kirov , Larisa Dolina , Irina Ponarovskaya , Irina Allegrova , Iosif Kobzon , Nikolai Karachentsov , Elena Stepanova , Dmitry Kharatyan , Natalia Nurmuhamedova . In 1996–1997, he was involved in the musical arrangement of NTV , in 2000–2001, on the Kultura TV channel [4] .
Recently, Adrian Korchinsky recorded 23 Mazurki by Frederic Chopin.
