Zubovo (Volokolamsk district)

Zubovo is a village in the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region of Russia . It belongs to the Yaropoletsky rural settlement ; before the reform of 2006, it belonged to the Volokolamsk rural district [2] [3] .

Location

The village of Zubovo is located off the Baltiya M9 highway, about 9 km west of the center of Volokolamsk . 2.5 km south of the village is the 133 km platform of the Riga direction of the Moscow Railway . Near the village of Zubovo flows the river Selesnya ( Ivankovo ​​reservoir basin ), on which there is a pond. There are 4 garden associations and a recreation center for fishermen on the territory [13] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Aksyonovo and Kozino . Bus communication with the city of Volokolamsk and the urban-type settlement Shakhovskaya [14] .

Historical Information

In the “List of Populated Places” of 1862, Zubovo is the state village of the 1st camp of the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow province along the Moscow highway, from the border of the Zubtsov district to the city of Volokolamsk, 8 miles from the county town, at the Kamshan stream, with 36 yards , a factory and 327 residents (165 men, 162 women) [5] .

According to the data for 1890, it was part of the Tymoshevsky volost of Volokolamsk district, there was a zemstvo school , the number of male souls was 153 people [15] .

In 1913 - 64 yards, Zemstvo school, paper and weaving mill [16] .

According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census - the village of Aksenovsky village council, 287 residents (111 men, 176 women) lived, there were 56 peasant farms, there was a school [6] .

Since 1929 - a settlement within the Volokolamsk district of the Moscow region.
