Geography
The village is located at the foot of Mount Eldama , 13 km northwest of the district center of the village of Karabudakhkent .
History
The first mention in Russian documents dates back to 1598, in the XV — XIX centuries. included in the Tarkov shamshalstvo .
In pre-revolutionary encyclopedias it is more often referred to as Gelly [4] [5] .
