Astro-Monster Invasion ( Japanese я 獣 大 戦 争) is a Japanese fantastic kaiju-film shot by Isiro Honda , the sequel to Hydra, the Three-Headed Monster . This is the sixth film about the Godzilla dinosaur , the third about Rodan the pterosaur and the second about the dragon King Gidor , as well as the first where Xylen's aliens appear. In Japan, the film was released on December 19, 1965.

Content
Story
The OCC (Joint Space Center) sends two astronauts , Glen and Fuji, towards Jupiter to explore a new planet ( Planet X ). Shortly after landing, astronauts enter the dungeon where the inhabitants of Planet X live. Aliens say they are forced to hide underground because the Ziro Monster constantly attacks the surface of their planet. Alarm sounds: Monster Zero attacks again. People recognize him as Hydora . Aliens offer people to deliver from Earth to Planet X Godzilla and Rodan , so that they can defeat the Monster Zero, and in return they offer to give a cure for cancer . Glen and Fuji return to Earth and, using advanced alien technology, deliver Godzilla and Rodan to planet X. The aliens deliver the promised medicine to people and hide in the bowels of their planet.

During the filming of the film, Nick Adams pronounces all phrases in his native language. His speech was preserved in the American version of the film, and in Japan his role was duplicated by Goro Nai.
At a foreign box office
In the United States, this film was released as "Zero Monster" and "Godzilla vs. Zero Monster" in 1970 . In the American version, some minor scenes were cut out: conversations of aliens in the language of Planet X, Rodan's takeoff over the hill, and the scene where Godzilla bounces with joy that he defeated King Gidora. The music was also slightly changed.
In the American version of the film, Xylen offers people a cure not only for cancer, but also for all incurable diseases on Earth.
