Biography
Arnekamani is known for his construction work in the temple of Apedemak , which he probably began to build. The temple is located in Musavarat . Its construction was not completed, possibly due to the fact that the ruler died before the completion of construction, and work in the temple stopped. The burial place, and therefore the pyramid of Arnekamani, is unknown.
The reign of Arnekamani in Kush can be attributed to the period from 220 BC. e., because the king changed in his title the dedication to the gods: “Arnekamani, beloved Amun ” to “Arnekamani, beloved Isis ”. The last initiation clearly focuses on the title of Ptolemy IV Philopator , who in 221 BC. e. ascending the throne of Egypt , he also proclaimed himself "beloved Isis."
