Biography
Born on the state farm Safonovsky Korenevsky district of Kursk region on January 14, 1952 in a family of workers. In 1971 he graduated with honors from the Rila Medical School, after which he worked as a paramedic at the Brezhnevsky Medical Center. In 1971-1977, he was a student at the Kursk State Medical Institute , in 1977-1979 he was a clinical intern at the Department of Faculty Surgery at KSMI , and in 1979-1982, he was a graduate student at the same department.
In 1982-2003, he served as chief physician of the Kursk Regional Clinical Hospital . In 1987, at the Ukrainian Institute for Advanced Medical Studies in Kharkov, he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of medical sciences on the topic "The functional state of the organs of the hepatopancreatoduodenal zone in patients with biliary digestive anastomoses." In 2001, at the Federal Scientific and Practical Center for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities (now the Federal Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise ), he defended his doctoral dissertation on "Management of a multidisciplinary hospital as a socio-economic system in the context of healthcare reform." Since 1995 - Head of the Department of Nursing, Kursk State Medical University.
Since 2002, she has been secretary of the Kursk regional branch of the All-Russian political party United Russia . In 2003, he was elected a deputy of the State Duma of the fourth convocation, in 2007 - a deputy of the State Duma of the fifth convocation.
On November 22, 2011, by order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, he was appointed Director General of the IRTC Eye Microsurgery , replacing Hristo Tahchidi , who was dismissed. The appointment of Chukhrayev, a general surgeon who had never been involved in specialized treatment of eye diseases, provoked a sharp negative reaction from the public and the staff of the complex in all its 12 branches [1] [2] [3] [4] , but everyone did not care.
Married, has two children.
