Story
About the revolutionary movement of the Persian peasants and townspeople against the dominance of the English tobacco monopolies. Persia in 1891 - the arena of a fierce battle between foreign monopolies. In the struggle between English and Russian capital, the monopolists of England win. The country is left without bread. The impoverished peasants and artisans - Khas-Pushi - are rebelling against foreign colonialists. Initially, the uprising is led by merchants and clergy. The urban poor are smashing the English embassy. At a critical moment, merchants and clergy are eliminated from the struggle, treacherously leaving the masses.
