The name of the village comes from the name of the Atyusha river, which flowed through the middle of the village and flowed into the Seym river.

History
A group of Ukrainians more than 150 people moved from the village of Atyusha in 1886 to the Siberian village of Chudstky Prudy, which was renamed the village of Romanovo in 1913. [2]
