Historical facts
[2] Bulakhov has been known since 1666. Soviet power was established in January 1918. In 1930 the first collective farm was created. On the fronts of the Great Patriotic War, 453 citizens of Bulakhov fought with the enemy, 173 of them were awarded orders and medals of the USSR, 304 were killed by the brave in the battles for the Motherland. Monuments were erected on the mass graves of soldiers of the 143rd rifle division who fell in battles for the liberation of Bulakhov and Bobruek from the Nazi invaders.
