Lastol rural settlement

Lastolskoe rural settlement [2] [3] or the Lastolskoye municipality [4] is the abolished municipality with the status of a rural settlement within the Primorsky municipal district of the Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation .

Content

Geography

The rural settlement was located in the north of the Arkhangelsk region in the delta of the Northern Dvina on 110 islands. The total area of ​​land included in the boundaries of the settlement was 11484 hectares.

History

The municipality was formed in 2006 [6] [2] [3] .

In 2015, the municipality was abolished by combining Voznesensky , Pustoshinsky and Lastolsky rural settlements into one municipality, Ostrovny rural settlement with an administrative center in the village of Voznesenie [7] [8] [7] .

In 1920, there were three village councils on this territory - Lastolsky, Konetsdvorsky and Chubola-Navolotsky. In 1924, the Lastolsky village council, the Kontsdvorskaya and Chubonavolotskaya volosts of the Arkhangelsk district of the Arkhangelsk province were liquidated and joined the Ascension village Council of the Ascension volost [9] . In 1933, the Lastolsky Village Council was re-formed and existed until 1954. In 1954, there was an association with the Konetsdvorsky Village Council, where in 1960 the Chubola-Navolotsky Village Council was joined. The administrative center was in the village of Konetsdvorye. In 1971, the Konetsdvorsky Village Council was renamed Lastolsky. The administrative center was the village of Lastola [10] .

The population is 600 people (as of 01/01/2011) [18] . According to the 2010 All-Russian Census, 602 people lived in the settlement [19] . In 2005, there were 648 people [20] .
