It is located on the Mukhrovka River (the right tributary of Lsty ) 4 km south-west of the regional center Bezhanitsy .
According to estimates for 2000, the population was 290 inhabitants [1] , according to the 2002 census - 253 inhabitants.
History
Until June 3, 2010, the village was the administrative center of the now abolished Makhnovsky volost .
