Uzbekistan District ( Uzbek. Oʻzbekiston tumani, Uzbekistan Tumani ) is an administrative unit within the Fergana Region , Uzbekistan . The administrative center of the city Yaypan .

The district was formed in the 1930s as the Kaganovichi district . In 1938 it became part of the Ferghana region. In 1957, the ode was renamed the Uzbekistan region. In 1963 it was abolished, but already a few months later restored [2] .
