Kuyichirchik district ( Uzbeks. Quyichirchiq tumani, Kuychirchi қ tumani ) is an administrative unit within the Tashkent region , Uzbekistan . The administrative center is the city of Doustabad . Until 1991, the city was called Soldatsky , until 1996 - Askarlik . Located 50 km from the railway station Razezd 55 (on the Havast - Tashkent line ). The population is about 12 thousand inhabitants. The Soldatsky settlement was founded by Russian immigrants at the place where the Akhangaran River flows into the Syrdarya .

The district was formed in the 1920s under the name Nizhne-Chirchik district . In 1938 he became part of the Tashkent region. It was abolished in 1963, restored in 1973. In 1978, it was renamed into the Galaba district . In 1992, it was renamed to Kuyichirchik district [2] .
