Uzun district ( Uzbek. Uzun tumani / Uzun fogi ) is an administrative unit in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan . The administrative center is the urban village of Uzun .

History
Uzun district was formed in 1943. In 1959, it was abolished, and all urban villages and rural gatherings became part of the Sarias region. Uzun district was restored by decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-301 of April 9, 1991 [1] .
