Dzharkurgan district

Dzharkurgan district ( Uzbek. Jarqoʻrgʻon tumani, Zharron tumani ) is an administrative unit of the Surkhandarya region , Uzbekistan . The administrative center is the city of Dzharkurgan .

Dzharkurgan district was formed in the 1920s. In 1938 it was included in the Surkhandarya district of Bukhara region . Since 1941, as part of the Surkhandarya region. In 1963 it was abolished, in 1964 it was restored [2] .
