Biography
1973 , February 27 - was born in the village of Ulyap of the Krasnogvardeisky district of the Adygea Autonomous Okrug , RSFSR , into a large family. My father worked as a brigade leader for a rice brigade, then he became an agronomist, chairman of the Kavkaz collective farm. Mom ─ teacher of physics and mathematics. Grandfather was a veteran of the Second World War, was seriously injured in battles and remained disabled [1] .
Education
1989 - Secondary school No. 9 in the village of Ulyap.
1994 - Rostov Institute of National Economy , majoring in Economics and Entrepreneurship.

1994 - Chief Auditor-Controller of the Red Guard Department of the Federal Treasury of the Ministry of Finance for the Republic of Adygea. Then he began to engage in political activities, heading the headquarters of Aslan Tkhakushinov in the parliamentary elections of the republic. Starting a career in Adygea, Kumpilov continued to live with his father and mother in his native village. He got to work in the district center on the way, daily making a journey of 30 km one way [2] .

Head of the Republic of Adygea
On January 12, 2017, by decree of the President of Russia, he was appointed Acting Head of the Republic of Adygea [7] .
September 10, 2017 he was elected Head of the Republic of Adygea at a meeting of the State Council-Hase of the Republic of Adygea [8] .
On September 10, 2017, he took the oath and took office as the Head of the Republic of Adygea. When he took office, the Chairman of the State Council - Hase RA handed over specially made copies of the text of the Constitution of the Republic of Adygea , the State Flag of the Republic of Adygea and the State Emblem of the Republic of Adygea and issued a certificate.
The Institute of Economic and Social Research (IESI) conducted a study in March 2019, the main results of which are presented in the report “Update. Two years of a new personnel policy ”of March 25. According to the Institute, more than 53% of Adygea residents are satisfied with the work of Murat Kumpilov, and 44.6% of the region’s residents are confident that the situation is changing for the better. Family
Married, wife teaches economics. Four sons: Jambot, Davlet, Jantemir and Demir. Kumpilov is a supporter of conservative education and raises his sons in the spirit of respect for traditions: the family does not lose touch with their native village, which the Kumpilovs visit every weekend. According to Murat Kumpilov, it is necessary to give the Nobel Prize to someone who opens the "ideal formula for the education of modern children" [2] .
Hobbies
In childhood, he was engaged in various sports: football, athletics and weightlifting, volleyball. Now he is trying to keep fit [2] .
He prefers outdoor activities in the mountains of Adygea and tries to introduce his sons to him [10] .
