Competitions are held in Nottingham , United Kingdom , in June, continuing the preparatory series for the Wimbledon tournament on grass.

General Information
The tournament was created jointly by LTA, ITF and ATP in 2011. In the ATP Challenger tour calendar, competition replaced the dirt tournament in Lugano , Switzerland , and in the women's tour calendar, it filled the vacancy for the second WTA grass tournament in that period.
Like the previous AEGON Trophy , the AEGON Nottingham Challenge is held on the courts of the Nottingham Tennis Center.
