Biography
She was born in 1916 in the village of Dragunskoye of the Russian Empire (later - the Streletsky village council, now Yakovlevsky district of the Belgorod region) in a peasant family.
Only a year and a half I went to elementary school. She started working early - first in the parent farm, then hired by wealthy peasants.
After the liberation of the region from the Nazi invaders, she worked as a field crop for the Leninsky branch of the beet-seed-breeding state farm Dmitrotaranovsky. The executive, working and principled Olga Nikolaevna in 1944 was appointed the link of the beet link. And then several more field links were formed on the farm, between which a socialist competition developed for high-quality and timely field work, better use of seeds and fertilizers, for obtaining high yields of grain crops, beet seeds and uterine beets. The link of O. N. Butyrina, in which she worked with her sisters Elena and Praskovia, almost always came out the winner in the labor competition.
Particularly successful for the workers of the state farm was 1947 . Then Butyrina received 36.5 centners of rye from each hectare of the fixed area. In May 1948, Butyrina and four other links of the Dmitrotaranovsky state farm were awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
She later became a mentor to many young beet growers. Combined production work with public. Repeatedly elected to the district committee of the CPSU , deputy of the council, member of the party committee and trade union committee of the state farm.

She died on February 10, 1974 .

Rewards
- In 1948, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR Olga Butyrina was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal "Hammer and Sickle."
