The service in this cathedral began on October 3, 1899. The church building was built by the Lutheran community of the city with the money of I. I. Krause according to the project of architect A. L. Benois . In Soviet times, the building was used as a warehouse, in the late 1970s the building was transferred to the Tashkent Conservatory and, after the restoration, was used as a room for the opera studio of the conservatory. At the same time, an organ was installed in the building and organ music concerts were regularly held in it. In the 1990s, the building was transferred to the newly created Lutheran community of the city, although the actual number of Lutherans in Tashkent at that time was very small [1]
Since September 26, 1892, Justus Yustusovich Jurgenson held the post of pastor. Until 2015, the head was Bishop Cornelius Vibe .
The church is located at: Tashkent, st. Sadyka Azimova (former Zhukovsky street), 37. The service is held in German and Russian [2] .
