Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Orthodox church of the Voronezh diocese . It is located in the village of Krasny Liman of the 1st Paninsky district of the Voronezh region .
Content
History
Stone Church in with. Red Estuary was built in 1892 . Located in the center of the village on a hill. In the 1930s, they tried to blow it up, but unsuccessfully - the house next to it collapsed. The temple stood in dilapidated form for more than 70 years, until its restoration began. Since 1994 - a monument of architecture.
Architecture
The church was built in eclectic forms. The altar is destroyed. The temple part is formed by a large quadruple with an octagonal light drum of a faceted dome. From the west to the temple part adjoins a long refectory with a built-in bell tower, the upper tiers of which are lost. The facade of the church is designed in the form of neoclassicism. Inside the temple partially preserved murals on plaster.
Current status
Currently, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the resolution of the administration of the Voronezh region N 850 of 08/14/95 is an object of historical and cultural heritage of regional significance. [one]
