Dance Album is the debut studio album of American musician Carl Perkins . The album is essentially a collection of songs released by then on singles in 1955-1957, including the hits " Blue Suede Shoes ", " Honey Don't ", "Boppin 'The Blues" and " Matchbox ".

Overview
Of the 12 songs on the record, nine came out on singles. The earliest song on the album is “Movie Magg,” which was released in February 1955. Three songs were first published on this album: “Only You”, “Wrong Yo-Yo” and “ Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby ”. “Dance Album” was the latest Perkins record on Sun Records : in 1958, Perkins switched to Columbia . In August 1960, Sun Records re-released the album in a new cover and under a new name (“Teen Beat: The Best of Carl Perkins”).
The album came out in monophonic sound and was the second long-playing record, released on Sun Records.
