Rhyparus opacus (lat.) Is a species of beetles from the subfamily aphodiine within the family of plate-like . Distributed in Mexico [1] . Imago body length is 3.7 mm. The body is narrow, elongated, parallel-sided, moderately shiny, dark red-brown, almost black. The gaps on the elytra are shiny, at small points, shallow [1] .
