Owaihi [ clarify ] ( eng. Owyhee ) is an arid region in the United States of America , most of which is a desert. Located on the southern edge of the Columbian Plateau , at the junction of the borders of the states of Oregon , Idaho and Nevada , south of the Owaihe River. Covering an area of 24,280 km², the region is located at an average altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level. [one]
