Below is a list of the mountain peaks of Russia . Among the mountain systems in Russia, one can distinguish the Greater Caucasus , the Ural Mountains , Altai , the Verkhoyansk Range , the Western and Eastern Sayans , the Chersky Range , the Sikhote-Alin .
The highest point in Russia is Mount Elbrus as part of the Greater Caucasus (5642 m).
This list shows the peaks of the mountains, whose height is more than 4000 m, a total of 73 peaks. 67 of them belong to the Greater Caucasus , 3 to Altai and 3 are in Kamchatka .

Badge of honor for the conquest of the ten highest peaks of Russia
For conquering the ten highest peaks of Russia, the Russian Mountaineering Federation established an honorary badge and the title " Snow Leopard of Russia " [2] . The standard for conferring this honorary title provides for climbing all eight five-thousanders of Russia located in the Caucasus , as well as the highest points of other mountainous regions: Belukha and Klyuchevskaya Sopka . The first climber to fulfill the standard was the Sochi climber Aleksey Bukinich [3] .
