Content
History
Formed by resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR of 02.09.1924.
It was liquidated by a resolution of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of the RSFSR of 07.02.1929, the territory was transferred to the Shovgenovsky district .
Population
According to the census of 1926, the population of the district was 19,417 people, of which:
- Ukrainians - 6669 (34.3%)
- Circassians - 5565 (28.7%)
- Russians - 5458 (28.1%)
- Kabardians - 1399 (7.2%)
- Abazins - 284 (1.5%)
- other - 132 (0.6%) [1]
Administrative division
In the formation included 4 village councils: Koshekhablsky, Lechepsinsky (Blechepsinsky), Natyrbovsky, Khodzsky. In 1926, Volnensky was separated from the Khodzsky village council, and Bezladnensky and Ignatyevsky were separated from Lechepsinsky. By 1929, the district included 7 village councils:
