Contamination
In addition to the fact that 10 species of fish live in this lake, pollutants enter the lake, they are dumped by local treatment facilities , which poorly clean sewage. They were also built in 1970 for a boarding house for the Bolsheviks (now it is closed, and in its place there is a center for social welfare Ezerkrasts). The content of nitrogenous substances is 15-20 mg / l (mainly nitrogen and phosphorus ). Moreover, the Malaya Yugla River flows into the lake, it and Lake Yugla may be in danger. But the reclamator of the capital, Andrei Reinschmits, noted: The treatment facilities were built in Soviet times, but they comply with the requirements of the Cabinet’s rules.
