The bond is an ancient Turkic tribe . In the 17th and 18th centuries, they lived in the Ettusouv and Syrdarya currents, were part of the Turkic Kaganate and the Karluk state . The Uzbek historian Ermatov M. assumed that the ethnonym Uzbek was derived from the name of the Turkic tribe Uzov. Uzbek - Uz - bek , beklari, prince of bonds (tribe of Uzes), beks of bonds. Mainly applied to the rulers of the Uz tribe.
