Koshma - felt [1] carpet made of sheep or camel hair .
Nightmares [2] are developed and widely used in everyday life among peoples involved in cattle breeding : among Kazakhs , Kyrgyz , Turkmens , Karakalpaks , Afghans , Kurds and others. The worst nightmares, or felts themselves, are cow's, and camel's from the undercoat are also felted for carpets [3] .
Nightmares are simple (mainly used to cover yurts ) and ornamented shirdak . The latter is made by rolling colored wool into the main background of the nightmare, stitching colored pieces, appliqué , patterned stitching or embroidering on a nightmare (these serve for the interior decoration of the home).
Fire Kosh
Koshma can be used as a fire extinguishing agent - it closes the fire, thereby preventing the access of oxygen , and knocking down the flame .
Currently, fireproof kosh is made of fireproof tarpaulin . [four]
