Lyrical prose

Lyrical prose is a kind of lyric epic genre , prose with a weakened plot , an increased-emotional structure of speech, the predominant author’s self, up to the intonations of the author’s confession. In the 19th century , V.G. Belinsky , P.V. Zasodimsky , N.N. Zlatovratsky , A.M. Skabichevsky , and others dealt with questions of the genre and style features of lyrical prose, its artistic specificity, the determination of its place among other genres. in the first place, Narodnik writers. In the XX century, their work was continued by M. B. Khrapchenko , B. O. Korman , L. Ya. Ginzburg , S. I. Kormilov , V. M. Zhirmunsky , A. P. Elyashevich, and others.
