In the Vihar (monastery) at the temple are stored many national treasures, such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues. The most famous is the small Buddha from the French crystal Baccarat (St. Anne's glass manufactory, Baccarat, France), XVII century (Cambodia’s “Emerald Buddha”), as well as the golden Maitreya Golden Buddha, adorned with 9584 diamonds , the largest of which weighs 25 carats The statue was created in the palace workshops commissioned by King Sisovat I during 1906 and 1907. Golden Buddha weighs 90 kg and is dressed in royal regalia. During the reign of King Norodom Sihanouk , who preceded the Khmer Rouge regime , the floor of the Silver Pagoda was inlaid with more than five thousand silver plates (blocks) weighing more than 6 tons, and part of its facade was rebuilt using Italian marble. However, only a small part of these plates is available for viewing by tourists at the entrance to the pagoda. The walls inside the pagoda are covered with frescoes depicting the heroes of the Indian epic Ramayana . During a visit to the pagoda put shoes and hats.
