Biography
He played for the club "Universitario". A participant in the 1930 World Cup , where he became the author of the debut goal of the Peruvian national team on mundial. This happened in the 75th minute of the debut match of the Peruvians against the national team of Romania [1] . However, even the Peruvians could not keep a draw. This game was followed by a defeat from the hosts of the Uruguayan tournament, which did not allow Peru to continue to participate in the tournament.
In 1933-1934 As part of a team formed of football players from the national teams of Peru and Chile, known as Combinado del Pacífico , Luis went on a tour of Europe, during which he took part in many matches with famous European clubs [2] .
