Shahraq-e-Nur-Mohammadi or Shahraq-e-Shahid-Pur-Mohammadi [1] [2] ( Pers. شهرك نورمحمدي ) is a small town in the south-west of Iran , in the Khuzestan ostan . It is part of the Shushter shakhrestan and is the southern suburb of its eponymous center. As of 2006, the population was 4,256 people [3] .

Geography
The city is located in the central part of Khuzestan, in the north-eastern part of the Khuzestan plain , at an altitude of 40 meters above sea level [1] . Shahrak-e-Nur-Mohammadi is located approximately 70 kilometers north of Ahwaz , the administrative center of Ostan and 465 kilometers south-west of Tehran , the country's capital.
