History
The author of the monument is the Gdansk sculptor Stanislav Radvansky . The monument was inaugurated in 2005.
Description
The classic monument is a seated Karol Marcinkowski with a cane in his hands and dressed in a long coat. The sculpture is located on a high pedestal of brown granite.
Not far from the monument are the Golem monument , the fountain with dolphins , the buildings of the Poznan University of Fine Arts , the post office and the police.
In Poznan, there is also a second monument to Karol Martsinkovsky near the I secondary lyceum.
