The Prioskolsky iron ore deposit is a promising iron ore deposit located on the Kursk magnetic anomaly in the Starooskolsky district of the Belgorod region of Russia .
The rich ore reserves at the deposit in categories C1 and C2 are 45.17 million tons, the reserves of unoxidized ferruginous quartzites are calculated in categories B + C1 + C2 and amount to 2 billion tons, including 1.5 million tons for B + C1.
In early November 2006, according to the results of the tender for the right to develop the field, the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works received a development license, which paid 630 million rubles for it. [one]
