Contract account (from it. Conto - account, corrente - current):
- A single account on which all bank operations with a client are recorded and on which mutual debts of the bank and the client are recorded. A contract account combines a loan account with a current one and may have a debit or credit balance .
- An active account opened by individuals and legal entities with their regular customers for mutual settlements on transactions between them.
