Biography

From 1930 to 1934 he studied at the Yerevan School of Music (pipe class of associate professor G.I. Tarayan). In 1934 he entered the department of military bandmasters of the Moscow Conservatory . In 1935-1937 he studied at the Military Faculty of the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Konstantin Solomonovich Sarajev (conducting), Sergei Nikolaevich Eremin (trumpet), Semyon Alexandrovich Chernetsky (military orchestra service in the ranks). After graduation, he served as a conductor in various military units of the Soviet Army, and since 1942 - as part of the Soviet group in Iran . Since 1944, the head of the orchestra of the Headquarters of the Transcaucasian HE , since 1948 - the head of the military orchestra service of the Transcaucasian HE [1] .

In 1965-1976, the head of the Military Conducting Department at the Moscow Conservatory, at the same time he taught the pipe class. Since 1978 - Deputy Head, and since 1982 - Head of the Problem Research Laboratory of the Moscow Conservatory [1] .

He died on January 6, 2012 in Moscow, was buried at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery [2] .
