Geography
It is located in the west of Lithuania, in the northwestern part of the Plunge region, on the емemaitė Uplands . The western part of the elder is located on the West Dzhemaysky plateau , and the central and eastern on the Dzhemaitsky dividing ridge . [5] [6]
It borders on the Šateikiai and Babrunga elders in the south, Paušštakiai in the southeast, емemaičiu-Kalvariysky in the east, the Imbar elders of the Kretinga region in the west, and the Notenai and Barstičiai elders in the Skuodas district in the north.
The total area of the Plateliai elder is 13,650 hectares , of which: 53% is agricultural land, 36% is forest, 11% is the water surface and so on.
