The 19th Russian Volleyball Cup for women’s teams was held from September 20 to December 30, 2011 with 26 teams participating (12 representatives of the Super League, 12 of the Major League “A” and 2 of the Major League “B”). For the second time in its history, the Moscow Cup Dynamo won the Cup.

Matches were held in five groups formed on a territorial basis. In groups the teams played in one circle.
According to the tournament regulations, the Dynamo-Kazan , Dynamo (Moscow) and Dynamo (Krasnodar) teams automatically delegated three or more players each to the Russian team for the preliminary stage.
